After having its own MTV launching,
the Xbox 360 is ready now to surprise the Japanese.
Microsoft is preparing for July 25 the Xbox Summit 2005 in Tokyo, where the main star will be, obviously, Xbox 360.
The event is announced as having the same grandeur as the Xbox 360 presentation during E3 Expo and the participants are anxious to find out more details about the new gaming consoles, and about the games developed for Xbox 360.
The Americans already know that the launching date for Xbox 360 will be around the winter holidays, and Microsoft will announce at Xbox Summit 2005 the launching date for Asia.
It’s likely that Microsoft will take the opportunity to announce what optical device the new Xbox 360 will have. After the partnership between Toshiba and Microsoft, it seems that the new console will include a HD-DVD device.
Yoshihiro Maruyama, the manager for Xbox Japan, has also announced some important surprises.
Xbox Summit 2005 is an invitation-only event.
