Ubisoft confirms that it's organizing another test phase for its upcoming The Crew online racing game, this time in the form of an open beta for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms starting tomorrow, November 25.

The Crew is one of the last big triple-A titles set to debut this calendar year, as Ubisoft is quite confident in its multiplayer-only racing experience made by the veterans at Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections. Quite a few impressive gameplay videos and screenshots have already been shared by the publisher, and plenty more are expected as we get closer to its release next month.

Besides those materials, Ubisoft also held a big number of limited time beta stages across most of the game's platforms, starting on the PC and then transitioning onto the PS4 or Xbox One.

The Crew gets an open beta tomorrow

However, while all the past stages required fans to register on the official website, starting tomorrow, a special open beta is going to start on the PS4 and Xbox One and that doesn't require any code or sign up.

The Crew open beta is set to kick off on November 25 and lasts until November 27. During these few days, PS4 and Xbox One owners can roam across the huge map of the racing experience, as well as complete missions and activities in two of its sprawling zones. As with previous betas, players can also choose between the Street and Dirt specifications for their rides, although the final game is set to include quite a few more.

"Join The Crew from November 25 to November 27 on Xbox One and PS4 for an open beta. Join other players in two of the game’s five regions – the Midwest and the East Coast – and try out the PvP in those regions. The Street and Dirt Spec vehicles will be available during the beta for you to customize and play around with," Ubisoft explains on its Ubiblog.

Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus are required for some activities

While all PS4 and Xbox One owners will be able to get into The Crew's open beta by downloading it via the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace, respectively, some activities still require a PlayStation Plus or a Xbox Live Gold subscription to access.

Even so, you can make a pretty good idea of what The Crew can offer when it launches next month by jumping into the open beta and having some fun with its missions, cars, and tracks.

The Crew debuts officially on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on December 2 worldwide.
