Ubisoft has released a brand new image, showing the entire map in the upcoming racing game The Crew, displaying the huge playground that players will be able to explore, consisting of the entirety of the United States.

The massive map reveals the locations of all the missions, landmarks and dealerships featured in the upcoming racing game that will kick off in November.

The image shows that the game will feature over 65 different missions, including Collect missions that will send players on a chase to gather various items scattered around the map, Takedowns, where you have to ram another vehicle and inflict enough damage before you run out of time, and Follow missions, where you have to tail a target and not let it get out of your sight.

In addition to the custom activities, the game will, of course, also feature traditional races, as well as a lot more content for players to enjoy, such as online PvP missions and Heists, which for the time being are being kept secret.

Developer and publisher Ubisoft advises players to clear their schedules when the game drops, as The Crew will come with over 900 activities at launch, with around 70 of them being designed with a strong emphasis on PvP.

"It doesn't matter if you're playing on your own or with friends, you'll always find a variety of challenges to keep you entertained, whether you're looking for the thrill of a cop chase, the competition of a highway race, or the adventure of a raid into the wild," says Ubisoft.

"Adapting your play style to a mission's objective and the driving conditions of your surrounding environment will be key to success."

The sprawling map of the United States will also feature around 1,000 real-world landmarks, so prepare to do some sightseeing on November 11 in North America and November 14 in Europe. The Crew is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PC.

The addition of the Xbox 360 among the launch platforms for the upcoming racing title was somewhat of a surprise, and the fact that the game is not coming to the PlayStation 3 ruffled some feathers with console owners.

Ubisoft has released a statement today, saying that the company chose to port the game to the platform that resembled next-gen consoles the most, which was the Xbox 360, as the PS3 is known to have some kinks that make development and porting more difficult.
