Ubisoft has just revealed a pretty big list of PC requirements for The Crew, its upcoming open world online racing game, stating just what components PC owners need to have in order to run the game, run it well, and run it at the best visual settings.

The Crew is a highly ambitious project for publisher Ubisoft, as the large French company has tasked developer Ivory Tower, as well as its internal Reflections team, with coming up with a top-notch experience that blends an open world racing title with an online environment that allows for seamless interactions with others.

The title has already seen quite a few limited time beta stages take place on the PC as well as on certain consoles in the last few months, ahead of the actual release that's going to happen in December.

Ubisoft confirms the final system requirements for The Crew

While various specifications were shared at that time by Ubisoft, so that PC owners knew whether or not to install the beta, now the official system hardware requirements are available for the final version of The Crew.

First and foremost, the new online racing game supports just 64-bit operating systems from Windows 7 or higher, meaning those with 32-bit configurations or with the older Windows XP won't be able to run the new title.

Minimum specifications are very accessible

The minimum specifications are quite accessible, as they include a CPU like the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 or the AMD Athlon II X4 620, as well as 4GB of RAM and a video card similar to the Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or AMD Radeon HD 4870.

Recommended and optimum requirements are steep

However, those who want to run The Crew on better visual settings will have to meet some pretty steep specifications. The recommended CPUs include Intel Core i5 750 and AMD Phenom II X4 940, while the optimal ones are Intel Core i7 2600K and AMD FX 8150. At least 8GB of RAM is necessary to run the game.

In terms of video cards, the recommended ones are Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 and AMD Radeon 6870, while the optimal ones are the Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 and AMD Radeon 7870.

Ubisoft confirms that it's tested the game on a wide variety of graphics cards and configurations and advises PC users to upgrade their drivers to the latest possible versions in order to ensure maximum compatibility and as few problems as possible.

The Crew debuts on December 2 worldwide for PC, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
