Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming online racing game, The Crew, showcasing some of the things that players can expect from the game.

The video, dubbed The Crew – 101 Trailer, does a pretty good job of showing off what sets the racer apart from other similar titles, starting with the unique setting, a quasi-realistic depiction of the continental United States, and going through the many challenges and gameplay avenues available.

Racing through crowded city streets, getting away from the cops, and visiting historical landmarks on the outskirts of civilization are only a handful of the many activities available in The Crew.

The eight-minute-long video also highlights some of the highly touted social aspects of the upcoming game, showing how players can band together in order to beat opponents and overcome challenges, as well as undertake various missions all across the continent.

The game will also enable fans of car customization to pimp their rides and personalize them, to give them the exact look they want and the best performance possible, to suit individual play styles.

The Crew is set to launch on December 2 worldwide, and December 4 in Japan, headed to the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC platforms.
