“The Conspiracy” Trailer: Which One of Us Is Really Crazy?

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the found footage technique has been getting tired for excessive use. However, every once in a while comes a film that justifies it.

“The Conspiracy” seems to be one of those, judging by the first official trailer released. Check it out above in full.

Not only does it use said technique, but it also manages to play out like a very solid faux documentary which, in turn, should encourage debates on its veracity.

If films are meant to challenge our notion of reality (and they are), “The Conspiracy” might just do that.

“A meticulously researched and cannily constructed bit of work, THE CONSPIRACY systematically blurs the lines between fact and fiction, deconstructing the distinction between facts and news, news and propaganda,” reads a synopsis.

Branded “more than entertainment,” “The Conspiracy” just piqued our interest. It is yet to be picked up for wide release.
