The Computer-Bed

Space can be a very serious issue in a large number of situations, whether we're talking about small town apartments or dorm rooms
(which are actually even smaller).

And that's why the multi-functional (foldable) beds are such a big hit, especially among young people and students. And one of the most interesting products is the one developed by Flyingbeds, which combines a double bed with a very modern and elegant computer desk.

It seems quite difficult to believe, but this concept really works. The European Murphy Bed, as its manufacturers call it, has a metal frame and a wooden slat foundation, and is powered by gas pistons which help in transferring the weight from the desk to the bed and back. It's available in 5 different colors, and the manufacturers also accept customization orders, depending on the customers' needs and preferences.

This product, although a very interesting one, also has some very serious problems, out of which the most important is the apparent frailty of the entire piece of furniture, as well as its price, of 2079 dollars, kind of high just for a bed, even if we're talking about a bed that turns into a desk.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
