We all know that Windows 8 is a “reinvented” operating system, but aside from two or three new things, most users think that it’s nothing more than Windows 7 with a slightly different look.

That’s not true though, as Windows 8 comes with a pretty impressive number of new features, most of them hiding behind the new Modern UI.

Of course, the refreshed look, the lack of a Start button, the introduction of the new Start Screen, Charms and a few other things can be easily noticed by absolutely any Windows user. But what about the other changes introduced in this OS?

Oliver Niehus, Principal Application development manager and member of the Application Experience SWAT team, revealed in a blog post the complete list of changes available in the new Windows 8, trying to show everyone that Microsoft’s latest OS is actually pretty different from its predecessors.
