China has registered a massive growth in the number of subscribers over the last few years. This has made it one of the most tempting markets for mobile telecommunication expansion. Ozura has managed to break it through with the help of several partnerships.

Predictions reveal that China has high chances of adding 160 million more subscribers to more than 400 million, which stands for current times. This is meant to happen over the next four years, as part of a general tendency of growth.

"China is a different market. To commit yourself into this huge market despite the influx of mobile game developers and publishers, you really have to stand out from the others - either your titles are branded or your games are so unique that no one has ever done it before. Otherwise your existence in this lucrative market will be insignificant," said HE Mah, Ozura Mobile's Chief Marketing Officer.

The Chinese market also presents several drawbacks that might be found difficult to overpass for most companies wishing to expand on this market. There are no 3G capabilities available at this time, even though the 2.5 G ones seem to be quite profitable. Moreover, the process for submitting new games is quite tedious, as all content providers have to register their games in Montrent through the local service providers.

One more challenge is that of finding a universal shortcode which can be used across all provinces in China. This will result in higher profit rates, as the shortcode will be able to address to all subscribers and, thus, be much more efficient.

"Currently, there are two deployments of tournament based mobile gaming community portals undergoing ,and there are a few enquiries on FunlogiX. We're looking to expand out business out from Asia Pacific in the coming years and capture and maintain as a slot as one of the top three mobile game developers in Asia Pacific", further said HE Mah.

FunlogiX is a mobile gaming platform which will also enable tournament games as well as regular single and multiplayer mobile games.
