One question has stirred the minds of philosophers, scientists and great thinkers for millennia yet an answer doesn't seem any closer. No, it's not "where did the universe come from" or "what is the meaning of life," it's which came first, the chicken or the egg.
While the universe's mysteries, from the smallest particles to the largest galaxy clusters, were unraveled one by one, this one question lived on.
Now though, miraculously, we have an answer. The egg, in fact, came before the chicken. The greatest question of our time finally answered, you're welcome.
Except, it all depends on what you mean by "egg" and, for that matter, what you mean by "chicken." The big problem is that evolution doesn't work in steps; what we see now, all the species of the world, is a snapshot in time.
These are the species currently living on the planet, but a lion from today is not exactly the same as a lion of two million years ago, even if they are fairly similar. Better just watch the video.
