A new way of playing football

Gameloft has developed Street Football, yet another game for mobile phones that is meant to bring the smile to all football lovers out there. And there sure are plenty.

Street Football takes this ball game a few steps away from the bright spotlights of the most famous stadiums and on to the street. The environment is one closely familiar to anyone living in an urban region, as it is a washed-out gray court fitted somewhere behind the large city buildings. Far from the bright green grass of the stadiums that we have grown accustomed to.

Still, the game features the image of Samuel Eto'o, one of the highest regarded football players in the entire world. Whether Eto'o is all that good at playing street football as he is at playing on a regular court, there is little to say. Regardless to that, he performs pretty well on the cement field, aside his fellow members of the team.

There is also a street football world cup which can be won after a series of challenging competitions with some unknown teams. In order to win, the player must prove a strong and challenging performance. He can make crunching slide tackles and several other tricks that will make the gameplay far more spectacular.

Another mode for playing the game is also available, as the user can decide to build his own street football team. Furthermore, he can train his players and take them on a tour for street football in order to win the world cup.

Aside from the image of Samuel Eto'o, there are more famous elements that appear in this game. All the matches take place in 8 legendary street football fields, from Brazil to Japan.

Street Football is available for any mobile phones that have available 500 kb for installing and supporting J2ME.
