The Chain Bottle Holder defies gravity. Or so it seems at first glance.

For all the people out there who have been boozed-up at least once, it's no secret that, as you're getting more and more drunk, things seem to change their natural appearance and, in some cases, they even start doing things they shouldn't be doing. And then you fall asleep. Well, we've found a very cool kitchen gadget that rocks, without you having to get drunk: the Chain Bottle Holder, a piece of awesome home-engineering that looks absolutely fantastic and boasts serious functionality.

Of course, the first striking thing about the Chain Bottle Holder is the fact that is refuses to obey the law of gravity and stays in place despite all the things your brain tells you that should happen.

The whole idea is based on simple balance and counter-balance so it's all a matter of elementary physics. Now, the welded chain pays for every penny because it looks like it is hanging from the bottle rather than sustaining it. In fact, the whole ensemble stays in place only if you place a bottle in the holder – otherwise, there is no force and weight to counter-balance the natural movement of the (falling) chain stand.

As you place the bottle in the holder, it is its very weight that does everything, keeping the system in balance and looking at least odd. This gadget is especially suitable for home gatherings since it's sure to cause bedazzled looks as people see it for the very first time. The optical illusion is perfect and the really cool thing is that the holder works with pretty much any wine bottle that comes in traditional size, shape and weight.

For less than $30, the Chain Bottle Holder can make for a great accessory for your kitchen and a nifty gift for a friend who likes collecting wine. Now the only question is, how does the Chain Bottle Holder look like when you're drunk, since it already looks so weird while sober?
