Leave it to Sylvester Stallone to make an entrance for himself. The action movie actor was poised to leave a big dent in this year's Cannes film festival and chose to arrive in style at the French film festival in the swanky seaside town.

Stallone and three of his co-stars in his latest action movie “The Expendables 3,” which is supposed to drop later this summer, cruised their way to the film festival on the city's main road, La Croisette, on two big Russian tanks, causing a big traffic jam but earning the praise of everyone in attendance at the festival.

The production company which handles the promotion of the movie reportedly spent a handsome sum on this stunt, which also included a promo of clips from the movie, followed by a star-studded press conference at the Carlton hotel.

At the said press conference, reporters got a chance to talk to Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, as well as Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Kelsey Grammer, all of whom made special appearances in the third part of the trilogy.

Director for the movie, Patrick Hughes, explained to the audiences that the cast took much pride in the fact that they did as many of their own stunts are possible, leaving aside for a brief moment that fact that they were getting on in their years.

Stallone concluded with a joke, “We are children with arthritis. We are young forever.”
