The Carphone Warehouse Kicks Off Great Winter Sales in the UK

UK mobile phone users interested the purchase of a new mobile phone this holiday season can now benefit from great savings if they make the purchase from Carphone Warehouse.

The leading retailer has just announced plans to clear up inventories, thus kicking off an impressive promotion for its users.

Both smartphones at tablet PCs are available for much less than usual as part of the company’s winter clearance sale.

Users interested in making an acquisition can benefit from the available deals both through the retailer’s website, as well as via its brick and mortar stores, starting with today.

Some of the handsets that can be seen at discounted price tags on the company’s website include the Samsung nexus S, which is now only £199.95 ($310 / 240 Euros) if purchased SIM free, or the HTC Desire HD, which goes for only £269.95 ($425 / 325 Euros), off contract.

Three other HTC devices are included in the promotion, namely Cha Cha, which goes for only £119.95 SIM free, the HTC Incredible S, priced at £249.95 ($390 / 300 Euros) without a contract, and the HTC HD7, which is available only with the signing of a monthly agreement.

All other devices can be purchased on contract as well, and the same applies to the three Nokia handsets that the retailer included in the promotion.

All three are Symbian powered: the Nokia E7-00, priced at £249.95, the Nokia N8-00, which goes for £199.95, and the Nokia C7-00, which is available only on contract, for £10.50 per month.

The biggest save available through this promotion applies to Samsung’s Nexus S handset, which is available for £15.50 per month on contract (a save of £325 - or $510 / 390 Euros).
