There is undoubtedly a selfie craze going on at the moment, and it seems that the entire world, celebrities included, are joining in to make photos of themselves in various poses. During this year's Oscars ceremony, host Ellen DeGeneres literally broke Twitter when she shared a star-packed selfie photo with some of the most famous actors in the world.

The only family you wouldn't consider for a selfie was, without any doubt, the British Royal family, firstly because they are royalty and secondly because they are British. However, here is a photo of the British Royals posing for a selfie in all their glory.

Well, not really. The photo made public by People is of some Royals lookalikes, a special event set up by photographer Alison Jackson, who aims to capture the funny side of some usually very somber characters like Queen Elizabeth.

The photographer recreates some of the more famous moments in the life of the royals and gives them her own spin using some lookalikes. This time, the photo was made for Kate's first Mother Day. She is presented in the center of the photo, with Baby George in her arms, Prince William by her side and the Queen herself with the camera phone ready to snap that selfie.

Her previous creations include Kate's baby shower and George's first Christmas and they aim at giving a face of normality for one of the most famous families in Britain. We should be on the lookout for the upcoming Easter photos.
