Brad Pittt and Angelina Jolie definitely deserve the title of
the couple of the year. And I am not inventing things, even People Magazine having attributed that title to the couple. The most famous two persons of Hollywood together? Its obvious why their story has created such controversy and has intrigued so many people.
Till there was BradAngelina was born
Angelina Jolie Voight in Los Angeles, on June 4th, 1975, her name meaning
Pretty Little Angel. Her father, Jon, was already an established superstar, having topped the bill in such classics as Midnight Cowboy and Deliverance. He and his mother Marcheline Bertrand, the part-Iroquois actress and model split when the girl was of 2 years of age and Ange and James, her brother, moved with their mother to the Palisades, New York. The following years were happy ones for the actress, but her strange behavior had already started to manifest as she was a member of the Kissy Girls, who hunted boys down and kiss them till they screamed - until the school was forced to call the parents and the gang broke up. When she was 11, her family moved back to L.A. and all that moving around seemed to have deeply affected Angelina as she dreamt of having an attic of things that I could go back up and look at. She started taking acting lessons at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute but gave up after a while and started living in an active self-loathing manner. Severely frustrated, she couldnt bear being touched (a problem she still has sometimes) and experimented (with her then boyfriend) heavily S&M as she once asked him to draw a blade along her jawline (the scar is now faint, but still there).
At 16, that relationship ended and now without braces and glasses (that had caused her so many complexes), she takes on acting again and becomes a model, working in L.A., New York and London. She appears in 5 of her brothers student films, made while he attended the USC School of Cinema (he was now known as James Haven). She meets Jonny Lee Miller and soon they marry, being much in love. Now begin her lurid tales of sexual exploits which she openly declares to the press: "You're young, you're drunk, you're in bed, you have knives; shit happens", said Angelina jokingly. When getting married, Jolie had worn black leather pants and a white shirt with Miller's name scrawled across the back in her own blood. In interviews, Jolie explained that her interest in blood and death was of long standing. She collected knives and had a real passion for mortuary science, having declared that as a child, she had dreamt of becoming a funeral director.
But the emotional charge of her roles had added to her own confusion and pain and Miller couldnt take it anymore and the couple called it quits. Jolie lived alone in Manhattan.
Filming for the comedy-drama Pushing Tin, she meets Billy Bob Thornton- acclaimed director, writer and star of Sling Blade. They fell in love, Thornton leaves his long time girlfriend, Laura Dern, and although him being 15 years her senior, they become a couple and later marry. The two become infamous for the odd nature of their relationship, Thornton admitting that he liked to wear Jolie's underwear, even to work, as it made him feel close to her. In the press, meanwhile, her victory was quickly overshadowed by freakish reports that she was having an affair with her own brother. They must have assumed she'd go for anything.
In 2001, Jolie adopts a Cambodian boy named Maddox and becomes clearly avid in showing her interest for helping other nations poorer than her own. As a result, she is made a Good Will Ambassador for the United Nations and takes that role very serious, visiting Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Pakistan and the Western Sahara. She examines first-hand the plight of refugees from Thailand and Chechnia, calls for peace in Sri Lanka and pledges $5 million to a wildlife sanctuary in Cambodia.
Unfortunately, her relationship with Thornton doesnt survive this sudden burst of activity, Billy himself being much preoccupied with his carrier and leaving home quite often to go on tours. The couple would officially split up in May 2002 and divorce a year later, after almost exactly three years of marriage.
Other roles and movies come and in 2005, Angelina takes on the role of Mrs. Smith in the major release Mr. and Mrs. Smith and this is where she meets Brad. The two play a bored couple whose marriage is revived when they find about each others professions (they are both secret assassins) and are hired to kill one another. About what happened on the set between the two will discuss later on.

Brad Pitt was born
William Bradley Pitt on the 18th of December, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. His father, Bill, managed a trucking firm and worked intensely 6 days a week, a thing of which Brad is very proud as he was deeply influenced by his father when growing up. His mother, Jane, was a high school counselor. The family was doing very well and, not needing anything much more, Brad could afford trying everything. As a child, he sang in the church choir as he was raised as a true Baptist. At Kickapoo High School, he was involved in everything. He was a member of the golf, tennis and swimming teams, as well as the Key and Forensics clubs. He was into debating, school government and school musicals. In 1982, he attended the University of Missouri, majoring in journalism, but he was definitely decided to become a director.
In 1986, he takes off for California with only $ 325 in his pocket, determined to succeed. "In my head," he later said, "I was done with college. I was on to the next thing". After finding a place to stay (awful conditions), he would take on small jobs just to get by. Then came the small parts in different productions and the first starring role in Dark Side Of The Sun where he played a young American taken by his family to the Adriatic to find a remedy for his terrible skin condition. The movie was shot in Yugoslavia. He had already started dating Jill Schoelen but after the movie fell through because of the civil war that ensued in Yugoslavia and which made the film to be lost in the wars chaos, she dumped him.
Brad won a part in the TV movie Too Young To Die?, about an abused teenager given the death penalty for murder and met Juliette Lewis whom he began dating in real life. They lasted 3 years, time in which Brads carrier really took off. He was thought as becoming the next Johnny Depp when he starred in Glory Days. Seven saw Brad begin a romance with co-star Gwyneth Paltrow and the couple soon was the most sought-after couple on the planet. When later accepting a Golden Globe for his role in 12 Monkeys, he'd call her "my angel, the love of my life", and he'd propose to her while in Argentina filming Seven Years In Tibet. Sadly, they'd split in 1997, a few months into the engagement, a heartbroken Paltrow saying "I think you have to keep yourself intact in order to have a healthy relationship, and I didn't".
Although a respected actor, his acting skills seemed to be constantly overshadowed by the aspects of his personal life. He rose to an extremely high level of celebrity when he married Americas sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston, in 2000.
In 2004, rumors of a possible end of their marriage had begun to arise and to those added the ones concerning him and Angelina Jolie. And, come January, 2005, Pitt and Aniston would indeed split (they'd divorce the following October) with Pitt now being photographed more and more often in Jolie's company.

BRAD + ANGELINA = BRANGELINAAs we all know, the two actors met on the set of
Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Could have the movies story influenced them in becoming a real couple? With them two in the movie, rumors of sexual misbehavior were bound to appear and considering Pitt and Jennifer Aniston as being the world's most famous couple and Jolie Hollywood's most notorious femme fatale, the tabloids went bananas. For once, they were right.
Angelina gave some interviews for
Vogue and
People so we were able to find out more about their story. Well, at the beginning, they didnt have any intention of starting something, they were just good friends as they were both living, I suppose, very full lives. ... I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't. I was quite content to be a single mom, said Angelina. But Brad was a huge surprise to me. I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from ... the media, she added.
Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, 'God, I can't wait to get to work.' ... Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair. Mhmthat should explain it, right?
They didnt think of starting a relationship until the end of the shoot but still, the two remained close friends the whole period between the wrapping of the movie and his official separation from Aniston. During that time, they began getting to know each other, contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things., Jolie again states.
They continued their friendship for a long time, until life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do.So the feeling was the right one but actually, Maddox was the one to make it clearer for them as the beautiful actress said that one day, the 5 year old boy suddenly turned to Brad and called him dad. That was the decisive moment when they chose to form a family.
Pitt has officially adopted Jolie's two children, Maddox and Zahara. Just a few months later, they would have a child of their own, Shiloh Nouvel, born in Namibia of which they have become quite protective, even over protective. Go

Their relationship is constantly surrounded by discussions and controversy. Also, Ange is seen as the evil woman who stole Brad from Jennifer using her sexuality. She is still not forgiven by the press and shes blamed for the split of Brad and Jen, even though she claims that she would never do a thing like that because her own mother was the subject of adultery and that affected her greatly.
She also says that she wouldnt mind meeting with Aniston. Kinda hard to believe, dont you think?
Brad said that they will not get married until all couples will be able to do the same thing. Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able, the actor tells in the October issue of Esquire magazine. Also, he declares himself completely attached to the three children he and Ange have: They're as much of my blood as any natural born, and I'm theirs. Could his desire for a child be the reason that separated him from Aniston and made him get much closer to Jolie, now that she had his daughter?
There still seems to be a triangle formed by Pitt, Jolie and Aniston, a triangle that enrages Jennifer: I'm so tired of being part of this sick, twisted Bermuda Triangle. She has asked to be left alone and certainly not pitied or victimized: Don't make me your victim ... It makes my skin crawl. Jen is also determined to live her life and claims that she has gotten over it, but she still lives in her marital home. Does that tell you anything?
At the time being, Brad and Angelina continue in their happy relationship and personally, I wish them all the best. Why not? They have as much right to happiness as everyone does.
