If you're by any chance looking to buy a new pair of headphones with decent sound and without wrecking your whole budget, you might be just in time for the new in-ear units from Klipsch, the Imagine Series. Even if the name Klipsch has a rather noble and high-end resonance to it, these new pieces of audio gear will retail for more than
affordable prices, allowing you to benefit from their nifty audio quality with no major financial efforts.
It seems that the new feature Klipsch are bringing forth this time with the Imagine headphone series is the special-design gel in-ear sleeve, which is supposed to diminish the stress and discomfort other (not that special) sleeves could exert on your ear canal's walls.
The Contour Ear Gels have been anatomically designed just like the sleeves of the Custom and the top-drawer Image series and aim to reduce the listening and wearing fatigue that usually occurs in several hours' time. The Image S2 is the entry-level model and it will come with three (S,M,L) ear sleeves and a cloth-carrying pouch. This model sports a piano black finish and boasts a moving coil architecture just like the S4.
Next in line come the Klipsch Imagine S4 in-ear units, which will be available in both piano black and silver finishes and sport a stronger magnet for improved dynamics and overall performance, while delivering a more massive sound with less distortions. These headphones come with an S and an M dual-flange oval ear tip, M and L single-flange tips and a very useful cleaning tool, with everything neatly packed inside an aluminium carrying box.
The Klipsch Imagine S2 and S4 will be available in July/April, with suggested prices of $49 and $79, respectively.
