- Jeremy Renner is the next Jason Bourne in “The Bourne Legacy”
For all those of you wondering how the upcoming Bourne film might handle the story considering that Matt Damon was no longer in it, and neither was Jason Bourne, here's the first teaser trailer for it.
“The Bourne Legacy” stars Jeremy Renner as the leading man. Today brings the first official teaser, together with the first official poster.
You have to admit, “Legacy” ties in with the other Bourne movies pretty well: “Jason Bourne was the tip of the iceberg.”
In the words in the tagline of the poster, there was never just one.
One final word on Renner: many said he couldn't cut it as Bourne.
They probably didn't know that he had a very physical quality about him on camera – and it's just perfect for the type of action film that “The Bourne Legacy” promises to be.

Different director, different protagonist. If this isn't about Bourne then remove the name from the title. Don't stain the perfection of the trilogy with this abomination.
