The Best of Macworld 2007

Everything that is good must have an end, and the same happens with the Macworld; but this year's Expo & Conference couldn't go down in history without some awards for the products that proved to be the best in their categories, and Macsimum News is one of the first websites to announce its awards, so here they are...

As everyone may have already expected, the iPhone takes the first position. Those that are still thinking about the fact that the iPhone is "only a phone, after all" should check the videos available at this time with this device in action. I have just seen one and I am stunned, although I must confess that I am not crazy about cell phones at all!

On the second position, we have the Apple TV, and I am sure that this doesn't need many comments either. After all, it would be really strange to see the first two positions in a "Best of Macworld" top to be taken by something else than Apple products, and this is not because "Apple should", but because "Apple is worth it".

Another revolutionary product is the ModBook, and seeing it on the third position isn't something amazing, but I am sure that if you had the chance for a hands-on trial run, you were amazed. Lucky you!

The next two awards were given to Mythos' enterprise-wide hardware and software storage solution for Mac OS X and the Evolve wireless iPod speakers.

Next, we have the Belkin TuneStudio that I told you about yesterday and Toast 8, the burning software that gives a whole new meaning to CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burning.

The inMotion iMV712 is an iPod speaker system that features a 8.5 inch LCD screen that allows you to listen to your favorite music, but also play videos.

The last two awards were given to Prey, the notorious game now launched for the Mac, and the InteliScanner mini, a scanner that is indecently small!

These are Macsimum News' picks, but I am sure that more and more similar tops are going to be available in a day or two, but one thing is certain: the iPhone made all that was promised and even more!
