14 DAY TRIAL // The folks at Gameloft are feeling awfully generous this weekend. They’ve decided to slash the price on two of their coolest iOS games, N.O.V.A. 3 and Gangstar Rio, offering them free of charge until Sunday night.
N.O.V.A. 3 is a Halo-inspired shooter which looks ridiculously good and plays just as well.
It’s an immersive sci-fi FPS (first-person shooter) that features lots of weapons and powers, 12-player battles in 7 multiplayer modes, voice chat, vehicles… heck, it’s Halo 3 in iOS format.
Not suggesting Gameloft ripped off the game, but N.O.V.A. sure stacks up well against the flagship Xbox shooter.
As for the other game they’re serving up for free this weekend, Gangstar Rio: City of Saints is a GTA-style sandbox game where you explore the city of Rio de Janeiro in different missions.
Yeah, apparently this one also had some coincidental inspiration from one of the most famous games of all time.
