BenQ Mobile launched their new AL26 slider in Hello Kitty look. Hello Kitty was created in Japan in 1974 and has ever since become established as one of the best known lifestyle brands worldwide. The cat with the pink bow symbolizes friendship and happiness. It has long since made it to the covers of international fashion magazines and the catwalks of celebrated fashion designers.

With the Hello Kitty charm, supplied with the phone, the mobile turns into a coveted fashion accessory and a veritable eye candy. Adorning the front of the high-quality casing, which comes in shimmering metallic pink, we have the image of the world-famous cat. The back panel of the casing shows through in contrasting, elegant white. Hello Kitty's logo, with matching writing, makes the back an interesting eye-catcher.

The four-way joystick quickly and conveniently leads the way through the clearly structured menu. A large TFT color screen with 130 x 130 pixels and 65,536 colors ensures optimum picture quality, while the 32-chord, melodic ringtones massage the ears.

The BenQ-Siemens AL26 Hello Kitty will be on retail sale from August 2006 on. Prices will be determined locally.
