After the release of the Haswell-E Intel CPU series and associated products, the gaming market exploded as it always does after a big product launch. What I will show you now is one of the newest desktop PCs based on it.

Created by GamingPC.ca, the new computer, rather unoriginally called The Beast, backs the best of Intel's Haswell-E CPUs, Core i7-5960X (8-core, 4.4 GHz clock), with 64 GB of DDR4 RAM.

That's the maximum supported by PCs for now, since 16 GB DIMMs will only be released in 2015.

In addition to the eight memory modules of 8 GB each, the new desktop also boasts four NVIDIA GeForce Titan Black graphics cards in Quad-SLI.

A solid state drive (SSD) of 1 TB capacity, 8 TB HDD storage, and more than the necessary share of connectivity and I/O capabilities round up the spec sheet. Everything is held together by an ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard.

Finally, GamingPC chose a custom water cooling system to keep heat low inside the black chassis. The company has a thing for customized water cooling gaming computers, you see. You might say it's its staple to make water-cooled systems with high overclocking potential, and has been since 1998.
