RitLabs released an update for their email client, The Bat!, to version 5.3.10. The revision integrates a hefty set of repairs and improvements.

Among the problems addressed in this build is the failure to display messages about invalid PNGs, HTML message occasionally quoted in the wrong way and usage of a wrong message for reference in the case of a quick reply from a separate window.

The developer eliminated the issue with the clipboard being locked until restarting the program and fixed a bug with PGP passphrase caching.

The Bat! 5.3.10 addresses a serious glitch that occurred sometimes and caused messages from a closed and password-protected account to be shown in the Mail Ticker. These could be opened if double-clicked.

Furthermore, in previous editions, the folders with unread messages in a locked account could be read.

The number of modifications for this version of the email client is pretty large. You can view the full changelog here.
