14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Stoic Games announces that it is set to launch the single player portion of The Banner Saga on January 14, 2014 on the PC, with a campaign which will include permanent death for characters and plenty of interesting choices.
The release of the game will be executed in partnership with Versus Evil, which will handle marketing, public relations and quality assurance.
John Watson, a producer working on the game, states, "Our partnership with Versus Evil is a great fit for our independent studio – their team understands what we are creating and is passionate about supporting our game."
The Banner Saga is a turn based title that is inspired by the world of Vikings but uses a lot of other fantasy elements.
A multiplayer version of the game has been launched early in 2013 and shows gamers how the core mechanics of the experience work.
