The Avengers Tops BitTorrent Downloads for Second Week in a Row

The Avengers continues to lead in the top 10 most downloaded movies of the week on BitTorrent, as compiled by TorrentFreak.

It exploded onto the top 10 last week, straight at number one, as a DVDRip version and a bit later a BDRip version of the popular summer blockbuster showed up online.

The movie had only been available for a couple of days and still managed to grab the top spot last week. You can imagine it did it easily this time around.

What's more, it's a safe bet that The Avengers is going to stay in the number one spot for quite a while and in the top 10 for even longer, judging by how well it did at the box office.

Elsewhere in the top 10, there were four new entries, The Cold Light of Day at number three, Safe at number 5, Total Recall at number six and the Bourne Legacy at number 10.
