The Avengers Is the Most Pirated Movie of the Week

The Avengers has finally been made available over BitTorrent in a decent-quality copy, i.e. not a CAM, and, surprising no one, it's already dominating the weekly top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, dutifully put together by TorrentFreak.

The Avengers has already been a constant presence in the top 10 thanks to the early CAM versions recorded in cinemas. The DVDRip version hit a couple of days ago and it's obvious that naughty pirates were eagerly awaiting it.

With just a couple of days of downloads, it overtook The Hunger Games which had all week to amass downloads. Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator came in a number three in the top.

Apart from the one at top, Joss Whedon's The Cabin In The Woods and The Lucky One are the two other new entries for the week.
