Pudding Media is a Californian company which plans to release a revolutionary online phone calls technology which would allow consumers to communicate with ease. Nothing impressive so far but read this: the technology would analyze your conversation and will display adverts based on the things
you talked about. Obviously, the privacy concerns were already raised because the application will entirely analyze the conversation in order to bring the ads, just like a spy. However, the program is quite attractive because it will be available for free, offering excellent sound quality and well-developed communication features. But the parent company sustains the privacy is not violated as no private detail of your conversation is stored on their servers.

"ThePudding does not collect, record, store or archive your conversations. Our technology detects spoken keywords during a conversation and brings you rich media, news and offers, related to the very topics you talk about during your calls. The conversation keywords are not kept in our system after they are processed, and the conversation can not be reconstructed. We do not download or install software on your computer. You will see content and offers only while using our services," the company mentioned on the official page of the product.

Basically, the service would be quite similar with Gmail, the mail technology powered by Google which displays adverts based on your emails in the right part of the screen. The only difference is that ThePudding will analyze your voice, instead of the text of the messages. However, the super giant Google also informs users that the entire system is based on an automated system and no person is reading the messages.

"No humans will read the content of your email in order to target such advertisements or related information. Because the ads and related pages are matched to information that is of interest to you, we hope you'll find them relevant and useful," Google explained.
