The Anti-Migraine Device

I do believe that most people have suffered at least once in their lifetime from one of those terrible headaches also known as migraines, and, in those moments when nothing seemed to work, have cried for something that would simply take the pain away. Well, it seems that their desire is about to come true, due to a special anti-migraine device developed by Neuralieve.

The anti-migraine device is based on the latest medical theories regarding the occurrence of migraines. Thus, right now, the most widespread theory states that migraines are caused by a "wave" of abnormal nervous activity that propagates through the cortex. And this is exactly where the device from Neuralieve steps in, as it generates very small magnetic pulses which have the purpose of "jamming" the abnormal brain activity, thus stopping or at least reducing the effects of the migraine.

The device is quite practical, very portable and very user-friendly. Thus, all the user has to do is place it on the back of the head and then press a button. The unit generates a magnetic pulse that only lasts for a fraction of a second and has a very low energy (about 1000 lower than the energy the body is exposed to during an MRI). Moreover, in orde to assure the user's safety, the device stops automatically for 60 minutes after each treatment.
