A study conducted by analyzing the opinions of 3, 406 Americans showed that most of the subjects don't seem to have faith in governmental strategies of handling the usage of natural resources.

Researchers from the University of Texas, Austin found out that less than 14% of the participants seem to believe that their country is following the right path regarding the present energy management.

Even more alarming is the fact that 76% of the subjects agreed upon the fact that America is facing a constant lack of progress. Furthermore, they think that the US is not doing a good job on the market of renewable sources of energy.

Officials stated that 84% of the questioned individuals expressed their concern regarding America's annually growing dependence on oil imports.

It seems that Americans lost their optimism, since 40% of the people who participated think that in 25 years things will get even uglier.
