The cover art for the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, the web slinging game developed by Beenox and published by Activision Blizzard, will use a dual PlayStation Move controller setup for those who are interested in using motion tracking to enhance their experience.

Jonathan Gendron, who is the public relations manager working at Beenox, has stated, “This is the final Box Art and the PS3 version will effectively support The PlayStation Move motion controller.”

Neither the developer nor Sony has offered any detail on how the two Move controller will be used to simulate the movement mechanics that Spider-Man uses.

The game is a companion piece to the movie with the same name and will be launched in June on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and gaming portables.

It’s not clear why the companies working on The Amazing Spider-Man are not extending their motion tracking support to the Kinect tech from Microsoft.
