The Amazing Spider-Man Shows Stan Lee Skills

Developer Beenox and publisher Activision have released a new trailer for the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man video game, showing off how the legendary comic book creator Stan Lee will feature in the experience.

Stan Lee can only be obtained as a playable character by those players who pre-order the title from either GameStop or Amazon and he will probably also be available as normal downloadable content sometime after the game is officially launched.

The Amazing Spider-Man is not directly linked to the movie reboot that also arrives this summer.

The game will tell the story of how Spider-Man defeats enemies like Alistair Smythe, Rhino, Iguana, Felicia Hardy, Vermin, Scorpion and Lizard.

The combat mechanics have been compared to those offered by Rocksteady with the Batman series.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be launched on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and the 3DS handheld on June 26 in North America and three days later in Europe.
