14 DAY TRIAL // “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” the sequel to the first installment in the rebooted franchise, drops in theaters on May 2, 2014 but, if you thought Sony was done releasing trailers for it, you were probably not counting on this brand new international trailer.
Check it out above and in full. It’s called “Rise of Electro” and focuses mostly on this particular villain (of the 3) that Spidey will have to face in this installment.
It includes some new footage and video we’ve already seen, but edited differently. The idea is to get fans even more aware of the huge danger Peter Parker / Spider-Man will be in once his enemies unite with the sole aim to bring him down.
I don’t know about you but, just like with the first installment in this new series, I have the feeling that Sony is revealing a tad too much from the film with all these trailers. I’m not complaining because I like the reboot with all its flaws, but still, sometimes less IS more.
