HTC has yet to officially introduce its next Android-based flagship device, but it appears that retailers out there already have a pretty good idea of how much the phone will cost when made official.

This is the case with MobileFun in the UK, which currently lists the yet unannounced smartphone on its website with a price tag of £579.99 ($970/€704) attached to it, VAT included.

Apparently, this will be the price tag which the upcoming phone – supposedly called the All New HTC One – will feature when sold SIM-free and unlocked in the UK, though we must say that we find it to be a bit too high compared to what other high-end phones out there cost at the moment.

However, considering the fact that HTC will officially unveil the new smartphone only on March 25, it would not come too much as a surprise if the retailer only listed an estimated cost for it.

The All New HTC One is expected to be larger and more powerful than last year’s HTC One, and the list of hardware specifications that can be seen on MobileFun confirms that.

Of course, we’ll take all the info with a grain of salt for the time being, despite the fact that it appears to be in line with what previous reports on the device have unveiled.

Thus, the upcoming flagship smartphone, codenamed HTC M8, is expected to pack a 5-inch display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, while featuring an aluminum body, the same as its predecessor.

Moreover, the retailer claims that the upcoming device will arrive on the market with a 2.3GHz quad-core processor packed inside, which will make the phone 40% faster compared to HTC One.

On the back, the All New HTC One will sport twin 5-megapixel cameras with dual-LED flash, which should prove great when shooting in low-light conditions. HTC will continue to use the UltraPixel technology for the device.

Apparently, the new mobile phone will arrive on the market with HTC BoomSound Technology with dual-speakers on the front, aimed at providing users with a great audio experience.

It is also said to sport a 2.1MP camera on the front, with HDR and HD video recording, and with 32GB of internal memory. The phone was also rumored to land on shelves with a microSD memory card slot.

HTC is expected to load the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system on top of this device, paired with the new Sense 6.0 user interface. The usual set of connectivity capabilities are also said to have been included in the package.
