Here's one really nice piece of news for all the gaming enthusiasts: AMD surfaces a new set of Catalyst Application Profiles (CAP) linked to the latest AMD display driver, the 12.4.

The 12.4 CAP 1 package addresses both single-GPU and multi-GPU configurations and is aimed at fixing some errors and corruptions which occur in various popular gaming titles. At the same time, running your fav game with its specific Catalyst profile will enhance the graphic performance of the system.

This Catalyst Application Profiles pack brings CrossFire performance enhancement for Counter Strike: GO, FireFall and Test Drive: Ferrari Legend. Sniper Elite 2 gets a performance boost when played on single GPU systems while in the case of Majesty HD, the CrossFire support is now disable as this particular game is not compatible with the CrossFire specs.

Finally, two more titles, the Walking Dead and Blades of Time receive graphics performance fixes that address some corruption issues when users activate the Anti-Aliasing option through the Catalyst Control Center. This issue seems to be a common problem with a lot of games as we've seen it corrected with many titles.
