Fashionable, neat tech, sounding great: AKG K 930 wireless headphones

If you're a wireless headphone enthusiast or have a friend who is and his/her birthday is approaching this late autumn... or even if you've already started looking for the best Christmas gifts, the new wireless headphones from AKG are by all means one thing that will do the job. The K 930 from AKG is a pair of headphones that not only sports great looks but whose sonic response will delight even the most discerning audiophiles.

The wireless connection was chosen out of obvious reasons as such headphones offer also freedom besides acoustic quality and this combination
has been proved to be a successful one.

The AKG K 930 sports a 100m radius of perfect, pristine listening and as the signal penetrates walls and ceiling, the headphones are simply great for using around the whole house and even in the garden. The PLL integrated tuner synthesizer makes sure that the signal is broadcast towards your phones with unscathed clarity while the automatic scanning and automatic gain control regulate the data flux between the transmitter and the ear cans.

AKG - again with a most neat pair of headphones.

The design combines the somehow slightly retro looks with a modern approach to the headphones' shape: the AKG K 930 comes in either lustrous white or high-gloss black, for neutrally suiting most tastes around. The overall design is rather minimalist with clean lines and no fancy things about; the construction is supraaural (meaning these ear pieces will cover your ear entirely) and semi-open.

These padded headphones come with a weight of 180 grams only and their cradle is also charging them when placed on it. Another cool thing is that multiple headphones can be used with the same transmitter so the fun gets bigger.

Hitting the market in November, the AKG K 930 have an announced price of 149EUR.

-Design: Semi-open, supraaural
-Frequency range: 18Hz - 22kHz
-Maximum SPL: 105dB
-Carrier frequency: 864MHz
-Input impedance: 19 Ohms
-Range: 100 Meters
-Optimal transmission quality: PLL synthesizer tuner
-Weight (headphones): 180 Grams
-Weight (transmitter/charger): 275 Grams
-Autotuning, AGC.

Hi, I am from Malaysia.

I have an AKG Herro 777 wireless headphone for about eight years and it is not functioning well.

So, my question here is it's better to send it for repairs and where is the service centre in Malaysia ?

OR

I should buy a new one and I am looking at your K930 and how much would it cost me ?

I need your opinion on the above.

Thank you very much.
