So, in case you've made some plans to have your home cinema system renewed, maybe you should take a look at the new high-end one showcased by Denon: the AVP/POA-A1HD packs in absolutely everything you might ever need in terms of connectivity, luxury, ease of use, top-drawer technology and pretty much anything you could ever desire.[admark=1]

Nevertheless, all these nifty feats come with a hefty price - you'll most likely laugh and say you'll never afford such gear, nor would you ever buy such a piece of multimedia equipment: nevertheless the Denon AVP/POA-A1HD is well worth taking a good look at, as we're talking about a true pinnacle of domestic multimedia tech.

The Denon AVP/POA-A1HD has all your needs covered and even more: there aren't but few things you will not find on this amazing home cinema system as it looks like its designers went for the kitchen sink approach and have had little restrictions as far as the number of connectors was concerned.

This amazing home cinema system is running with a top-notch preamp which can link to virtually anything and has a built -in support for pretty much anything: and so you can just get the bigger picture, there are no un-supported codecs!

Even more, you get six HDMI, six component, eight S-video and eight composite, while the audio section comes loaded with five optical and six coaxial digital inputs: the preamp can be the heart of any multimedia rack, no matter how big or complex would you like it to be.

On the output side, the new Denon gear is even better: 12 balanced XLR and 12 unbalanced RCA for analogue audio out and a further four optical digital outs, with RS-232 remote control capability and enhanced Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking solutions as well. The preamp comes with a nifty, high-class metal casing and highly-readable display, with intuitive controls for easy use and retails for around $10,000.

The other piece of tech in the Denon AVP/POA-A1HD is the power amp, retailing for the same $10K, sporting three analog, freely-assignable monitoring meters for a truly noble look and ten XLR and ten RCA audio inputs and a total of 20 speaker outputs which can be divided in two groups for a secondary room installation. From mono to 7.1 surround from decoded sources, the Denon AVP/POA-A1HD can even access networks and display photos to dual separate monitors.

This $20,000 home cinema system comes with a power requirement to match: while the preamp drains some decent 150W, the power amp needs no less than 1,300W to do the job. Yet, if you can afford the Denon AVP/POA-A1HD and matching top-level speakers, I guess paying the electricity bill comes as a rather insignificant detail.
