For the upcoming release of Windows Vista that is scheduled for general availability on January 30, 2007, Microsoft has announced that all the top security developers worldwide will
align to deliver solution with full support for Vista.

In this context, Microsoft has comprised a list of no less than 12 security providers that will make available consumer and small-business security solutions for Windows Vista, prior to the operating system hitting the shelves.

CA Inc.'s CA Anti-Virus 2007 has been tested by 160,000 beta participants and will deliver protection against viruses, worms and Trojan horse programs. ContentWatch Inc.'s Internet filtering software will make available a dynamic contextual analyzer with advanced management, monitoring and reporting capabilities.

AVG Anti-Virus 7.5, AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 and AVG Anti-Malware 7.5 from GRISOFT, will deliver fully compatible Vista solutions in both commercial and free versions. IMSafer Inc. will offer an online communication monitoring service that is designed to protect children while surfing the Internet.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security are Kaspersky Lab's solutions for Vista, providing premium virus, spyware, hacker and spam protection. McAfee's VirusScan Plus 2007; McAfee PC Protection Plus 2007; McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007; McAfee Total Protection 2007; McAfee Wireless Protection 2007; McAfee SiteAdvisor, and McAfee SiteAdvisor Plus will all support Vista by January 30.

Next on the list in alphabetical order comprised by Microsoft comes the Redmond Company's very own Windows Live OneCare, offering Vista customers with unified, real-time anti-virus and anti-spyware protection together with maintenance and backup capabilities. OneCare has RTMed at the beginning of 2007 and will be available prior to January 30, 2007.

Panda Software International announced Panda Antivirus 2007, Panda ClientShield and Panda Internet Security 2007 Identity Protect for Windows Vista. SafeScreen from PixAlert will also be available for Vista offering protection and real-time image-monitoring solution. SafeBrowse.com's Safe Eyes parental control software will also be compatible with Vista.

Symantec Corp. announced Norton Confidential, Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus will support Windows Vista by the consumer launch date. And last but not least, Trend Micro Inc.'s Internet security with TrendSecure, TrendSecure, Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware will be Vista compatible.

Softpedia has already comprised a list of its own with the security solutions available for Windows Vista at this time.
