It appears there are many security holes on Texas.gov

Three web subdomains of the State of Texas, US, all associated with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, have been defaced by a hacker that uses the online nickname Nob0dy.

HackRead informs that the affected subdomains are tsbde.texas.gov, dentalboard.texas.gov and tsbde.state.tx.us.

The hacker hasn’t replaced the index page of these domains. Instead, he has added his own defacement webpage to one of the site’s subfolders.

Currently, all the subdomains still host the defacement page.

Unfortunately, this latest attack on texas.gov demonstrates that the website is highly unsecure. On Monday, we learned that another subdomain of the State of Texas, the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying (txls.texas.gov), was also breached, by Tunisian hackers.

As far as Nob0dy is concerned, this is not the first time when he attacks US government websites. Last week, he targeted the sites of the City of Harford, Connecticut, and Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
