Bikinis Bar and Grill is the only establishment legally allowed to call itself that

If you want large portions of delicious food made from scratch, cold beer and an eyeful of gorgeous, scantily clad waitresses, a breastaurant is definitely the place to go. However, only one of the many establishments of the kind can legally call itself so in the US.

The owner of Texas-based Bikinis Bar and Grill had the idea to trademark the term “breastaurant,” which means that, though there are several huge players on this segment of the market already, only they have the right to use this term to describe their establishment.

“Doug Guller, CEO of ATX Brands LLC, which owns Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill, announced today he has trademarked the term ‘breastaurant’ through the United States Patent and Trademark Office, meaning his company is the only one who can describe itself with the term,” ABC News reports.

The move is a very important one in the $1+ billion (€763.4+ million) industry because it legitimizes a trend that’s been picking up speed in the fast food industry despite the recession.

This particular fast food joint might not be the biggest breastaurant on the market right now (Hooters, Twin Peaks and Kilt being three of the most impressive players), but being the first to trademark the term puts it at a clear advantage.

This is precisely what Guller is hoping for either way.

“We're really excited about receiving this federal trademark. Our team has worked hard over the last seven years to offer a unique experience to our fans. It just further solidifies that Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill is America's ONLY breastaurant,” he says in a statement.

Below, embedded at the end of the article is a video report from ABC on how more and more breastaurant locations are popping up all over the US.

They are a sign that the fast food industry is striving to retain customers in recession by offering a little something extra; in other words, people are tempted to go there not just because for the good food and beer, but also for the hot girls who are trained to be extremely friendly and nice.

As of now, ABC notes, several such breastaurants are looking to expand to adopt means that would also attract women and children – and not just by the inclusion of kids’ menus, we’re to assume.
