Leatherface is back and he’s thirstier for blood than ever. “Texas Chainsaw 3D,” yet another installment in the long-running horror franchise, has just gotten an official trailer.

“Texas Chainsaw 3D” ignores all the sequels, prequels and remakes ever made, and picks right up after the events depicted in the 1974 original film.
Its aim is clearly to explain how what happened in that movie influenced the future – and also to
bring back Leatherface.
The trailer sets the tone for a typical (and hopefully good) gorefest: there’s a young girl who inherits a house, a van and a road trip to check out said house, which turns out to be cooler than anything they might have imagined.
Tip of the day: never hide in an open coffin in the cemetery.
“Texas Chainsaw 3D” will be out in January 2013.
