Electronic Arts Inc announced the launch of Tetris Mania, a new puzzle game for mobile phones that puts
a compelling spin on the original. Designed to have mass appeal for anyone who has a mobile phone and few spare minutes, Tetris Mania will keep players hooked with its simple but addictive gameplay. Tetris Mania will be available to download from all major European carriers including 3, O2, SFR, T-Mobile, Telefonica and Vodafone.

The original Tetris created an epidemic of puzzling proportions with generations of families. Tetris Mania is no exception. It has three new and individually engrossing twists that are guaranteed to indulge your puzzle-solving passion. Cascade Mode activates gravity and any unsupported blocks topple down helping players score an avalanche of points. Sticky Mode allows blocks of the same color to stick together, creating new shapes to smash down allowing players to clear the bottom row of blocks even faster. The third is Fusion Mode whereby one infectious little block will activate others that come into contact with it. Activate enough blocks and blast to the next level.

Tetris Mania features enhanced graphics, playful visual effects as well as fun animation and sound. It truly is a new experience for lovers of Tetris!
