Attendees of the UK's largest LAN party, i26, will be able to get one of the first glimpses of Microsoft's Xbox 360 games console, it was revealed today. The massive gaming event will be the one of the first chances the public will have to test-drive the Xbox 360 before the launch of the console on December 2nd.

The marathon 57 hour game fest will be used by Microsoft to showcase a range of forthcoming titles for the Xbox 360, including Dead or Alive 4, Project Gotham Racing 3,
Kameo: Elements of Power and the highly anticipated Perfect Dark Zero.

Craig Fletcher, Managing Director, Multiplay, commented "i26 is three weeks before the official launch of the console and will give our participants, as well as spectators, the ideal opportunity to get to know the Xbox 360 before the Christmas rush", he continued "We're pleased to continue our relationship with Microsoft and Xbox, they have always caused a storm at the i-Series before and I'm sure this event will be no different!"

i26 is a huge 'LAN Party' where games enthusiasts from around the UK and Europe come together for a festival of games and entertainment. The event is being held at Newbury Race Course in Berkshire, England over the 11th - 13th November 2005 and has over 1000 BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) spaces.
