Terrell Owens has not been himself for the past 2 years. The former 49ers and Eagles winger was struck by plenty of injuries lately to ask himself a few questions about his future in football. Still, the latest allegations concerning his personal life have been quite damaging in terms of his psychological abilities to pass this rough time in his career.

The Dallas Cowboys footballer was taken in an ambulance to an emergency
room late Tuesday night. According to the Associated Press, the police report earlier next morning revealed words like suicide, overdose and depression. The Dallas Morning News revealed the report on Wednesday. It said the cause of the call was: "suicide by prescription pain medication".

Still, the player stated that he was stunned by the media reports on Wednesday and denies all such claims. More, the NFL player was angry to have been linked with a suicide attempt. After being consulted by doctors, he checked out and went right into practice with the Cowboys.

As for the reason why the paramedics stepped in, he told the media that he felt groggy after mixing some pills and his publicist was the one to make the call to the emergency room, but just for precaution reasons.

"There was no suicide attempt. I was non-responsive when she made that call. She made it out of her judgment for my well-being. The rumor about me taking 35 pills is absurd. If I took 35 pills I wouldn't be here. I'm not depressed about anything", stated Owens on Wednesday.

The player is now recuperating from his hand-operation earlier this weekend. The Dallas star got injured during Cowboys' win over the Redskins last week.
