PS3 owners in North America, however, get the game on March 26

Terraria, the extremely popular indie side-scrolling adventure game has just received a release date for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, in the form of March 27, although PS3 users in North America will be able to get it on March 26.

Terraria impressed many PC owners by delivering a very addictive adventure experience that allowed them to explore in a side-scrolling fashion a massive open world filled with different objects and, of course, enemies.

Now, Terraria is making its way onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this week, allowing console owners to get in on the very impressive experience.

Publisher 505 Games has confirmed that PS3 owners in North America will get the game on March 26 while PS3 users in the rest of the world, as well as all Xbox 360 owners will be able to download it on March 27.

Terraria will be priced at 1200 MS Points / $14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99.
