The development team at Re-Logic, alongside Engine Software, announces that the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita versions of Terraria will get a massive and free 1.2 update on April 17, designed to eliminate a big number of bugs, while also improving the overall game experience.

The announcement was made on the official Facebook account of the company and a truly impressive list of actual changes can be seen on the official forums of the game.

Among the most important fixes for bugs, the developers mention no longer being able to craft items or get money via the trash, money is scarcer because some exploits linked to it have been eliminated and the overall control scheme has been improved.

The studio is also introducing a number of new recipes for crafting, 4 bosses to face and more than 100 new regular enemies to deal with.

Long-term fans of Terraria are saying that the changes amount to a full expansion for the title and are looking forward to the possibilities opened up by update 1.2.

The game offers an action adventure sandbox indie experience that’s similar in many ways to Minecraft, but is more focused on exploration and on the endgame.
