A 32-year-old man is setting an example with his passion for life and his love for his daughter.

A little over a week ago, Iram Leon has won a marathon after doctors told him that his brain cancer is inoperable, and he is in the final stages of the illness.

He wanted to run the Gusher Marathon in Beaumont, Texas with his daughter, as he feared he hasn't spent enough time with her.

"I still can't believe that I won a marathon. Well, I came in second behind Kiana,” he expressed on his blog at the time.

International Business Times indicates that he has been diagnosed with 2 diffuse astrocytoma two years ago, forbidding him from continuing to work, drive and perform other daily activities.

He threw his dedication into running and it turned out to be worth it. According to the Hollywood Gossip, The Sports Society for American Health hosting the competition has set up a $30,000 (€23,180) college fund for his daughter.
