Terminal Reality is a game development studio based near Dallas, Texas. They are best known for Nocturne, BloodRayne and Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Rumors surrounding the studio's potential shutdown started when Terminal Reality former employee Jesse Sosa wrote on Facebook that the studio closed down.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, the studio's latest creation, just shipped for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in March. The studio also maintained a business licensing of its Infernal Engine technology to other studios, as GamaSutra points out.

No information is now available on the studio's shutdown. The number of affected employees and the circumstances surrounding the decision are complete mysteries, for the moment.

Terminal Reality's webpage redirects to the company's Facebook, where the latest post dates from October.

As of yet, no official details have been released by the studio, but the comments company employees posted on Sosa's Facebook page seem to confirm the rumor.
