"Desperate Housewives" actress Teri Hatcher decided to help those in need after Hurricane Katrina destroyed all they had, by inspiring a T-shirt line to raise money for the victims. Hatcher teamed up with My T to create a new Presents For Purpose line of inspiring designs.

Hatcher says, "I just wanted to do something. Fifty per cent of sales goes directly to the Red Cross to help the hurricane victims."

According to website www.presentsforpurpose.com, "Teri Hatcher is helping support those affected by Hurricane Katrina with exclusively designed limited edition 'Teri Hatcher for My-Tee' shirts, designed by Chrissy and Nicole Azzaro.

Presents For Purpose will give all net proceeds, a full 50% of the sale price of the "Teri Hatcher for My-Tee" shirts purchased on this website, to the American Red Cross.

All 'Teri Hatcher for My-Tee' shirts are hand made, adorned with assorted rhinestones, and are uniquely color treated to ensure that no two shirts will be alike. Supporters can choose from the following four hand written inspirational messages: Humanity * Courage * Give Back * Unity".
