It's been several years since animal rights activists worldwide first decided to take a stand against foie gras on account of its being directly linked to animal torture.

Look to the Stars says that Terence “Geezer” Butler, i.e. Black Sabbath's bassist, is now also doing his best in trying to rid the world of the habit of eating this vile culinary treat.

Thus, the musician wants his fans to boycott Fortnum & Mason and demand that the latter stop selling foie gras to their customers.

“[Do] you really want to give two fingers to British animal welfare laws by being one of the only remaining retailers to sell this ‘torture in a tin’?” Terence Butler wrote in a letter meant for the current boss of Fortnum & Mason.

“I’ve been a musician for most of my life, and I’m not afraid to make some noise, especially when it comes to issues of cruelty to animals. I’ll therefore be urging my family, friends and fans to stay away from Fortnum’s until you stop selling that vile foie gras,” the bassist stressed.
