Tenvis, a Chinese IP cameras manufacturer, has recently released new firmware updates for its IP391W, IP602W and MINI319W products

Although differing in version number (2.7.19 for MINI319W and 3.7.19 for IP391W and IP602W), these releases share the same changelog.

The new update fixes the motion detection alarm sensitivity issue as well as the error description of vertical and horizontal reversal.

VLC video player is now supported and the “Device Model” has been removed from the “About” page.

When it comes to language support, Tenvis updated the French, English and Japanese languages and, on top of that, added Arabic as well.

There are a few important notes that come with this update. First of all, you must choose the correct update package for the camera. We've got that sorted out and all you have to do is pick from the links below.

Second, the installation procedure must be performed over a cable connection and not through Wi-Fi.

Do not forget that a continuous power supply is required during the update. It will take about a minute or two, but if your power drops during that, you'll end up with a bricked device.

Below are the links to the firmware. Download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”
